Mom and Dad Nights
During the past two weeks we had both Mom and Dad Night in our primary classrooms. It was enjoyable time with the children being able to spend time showing mom and dad the classroom and some of their favorite work. Here are some photos of the evenings . . .
Some children challenged their parents to a trying their hand at math work.
Here are some moms and dads trying a hand at the geography maps and the flags of the world.
Some children preferred to have mom or dad watch while others had them join in!
Here is a child seeing if dad knows his geometrical solid shapes. Does dad know which one is an ellipsoid or a square based pyramid?
The parents had fun working on identifying parts of speech, building puzzles and enjoying books.
Does this dad know about artists? Does he who painted each painting?
The evening ended with everyone singing songs and sharing time "on the line." Fun was certainly had by all!
