Admissions

If you would like to enroll your child in Peaceful Pathways Montessori, we encourage you to enroll your child at the age of three years old.  Enrollment for each age group is limited to a certain number of male and females.  Our three year old children move into the four year old openings and our four year olds move into the five year old openings and so on.  Typically students may not enter our elementary program without prior Montessori experience.

Those wishing to enroll must complete the following steps:

1.   You should call (630)553-4263 and arrange for a tour of the school and meet with the Head of School.   All tours must be scheduled through our office so that we may spend adequate time answering your questions and show you  a class in session.

At the conclusion of your tour,  you will be given tuition information and a Peaceful Pathways Student Application.

2.  Complete a Peaceful Pathways Student Application.

3.  Return the application and your non-refundable $25 application fee.

4.   Peaceful Pathways Montessori will contact you as soon as there is an opening for your child in our program.  P.P.M.A. makes every attempt to fill our classrooms keeping an even ratio of boys and girls as well ages.   If a space becomes available you will be notified by phone to pick up a contract and begin the enrollment process which includes a $250 enrollment fee.

Please note:  All deposits, tuition payments, and fees become non-refundable if the application is withdrawn by the family once  placement has been granted.

We enroll children throughout the year on a space available basis.  Please contact the school if you would like to place your child's application on our waiting list.  You are encouraged to start your child in our program at age three. The are occasionally incidences when a family must move or withdraw that may open a spot for a child over the age of three.  There are fewer spaces for children over the age of three.

Financial Aid

Peaceful Pathways annually provides financial assistance as these needs-based awards allow Peaceful Pathways to increase the diversity of the school community.

In order to be considered for Financial Assistance families need to complete the application provided by ISM FAST. This independent organization will then return a recommendation to the school on eligibility for aid.  In addition families will need to submit a copy of the following to the school: a copy this year's Form 1040, with all the attachments and a copy of the corresponding W-2's. These will be kept confidential.

Peaceful Pathways Montessori considers applications for financial aid on a rolling basis with no applications for assistance considered after June 1 for the upcoming school year. Applicants are not required to sign an Enrollment Contract until they have received notice of an award, but parents applying for Financial Aid must have previously submitted an application and application fee for admission to the school.

Peaceful Pathways Montessori has chosen to use FAST - Financial Aid for School Tuition - by Independent School Management (ISM) to process your financial aid application.  ISM will provide standardized and impartial processing in a confidential setting.  Click on the logo above to begin the financial aid process.
