Seton Montessori Institute Visits Peaceful Pathways Montessori Academy
Seton Montessori Institute visited our school on Monday, November 14 along with some of their students taking the American Montessori Society Administrator training. The visit included observation in all of our classrooms and a discussion about starting and operating an authentic Montessori school. Seton Montessori Institute is an educational institution in Clarendon Hills that certifies teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals. It was wonderful having so many administrators come for a visit!
What is Montessori Elementary?
Friday, November 4 at 7 p.m.
Montessori education does not end with the preschool experience. Please come November 4th to learn how the elementary environment might be the next step for your child. This is a night for parents that want to find out more about what the elementary program looks like. Please R.S.V.P. to attend this event by November 1, 2011.
Coffee & Chat
Ms. Shawna will be available on Thursday, November 10 at 9:00 a.m. There is no special agenda or topic. It is just a fun time to visit and chat. Please check your November calendar that will be sent home on Monday, October 31 for details of the location.

Culver's Night Fundraiser
This event will take place on Thursday, December 8 from 10:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. at the Culver's in Yorkville. Ten percent of all sales go toward Peaceful Pathways Montessori Academy when you or your friends bring in a flyer from our school and purchase food items. Flyers are available in our school office.

Mom's Night Out
Thursday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m. at The Olive Gallery - 2671 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL
This is a private party for our moms. There will be appetizers and desserts made with oils and vinegars. Beverages include hot cocoa, tea, and water. R.S.V.P.'s are due by December 8. The cost is $12 per mom and can be brought to the school no later than Tuesday, December 13 during the morning car line. Please put your payment in an envelope marked with your name.
