Do you like to garage sale?  Do you have things in your house that aren't needed and on the list below?  If so, please let us know!

Peaceful Pathways Montessori is looking for the following items:

Natural Gas Oven/Stove to use in our kitchen for home economic projects

Digital Camera for a classroom to use to take photos of children for portfolios/webpage

Stop watches to use for elementary projects

Basketballs

Softballs

Tennis Balls

Orange Marker Cones

Net Bag to store balls and sport equipment

Jump Ropes large and small

Balsa Wood - for elementary projects

Bathroom Scale

Coffee Cans with lids

Leaf and Flower Press

Bookends - to use in our classrooms/library area

Books that are in good condition and current to use in our elementary classroom.  Both fiction and non fiction books are welcome.  Topics of particular interest: 

        U.S. History Books - non fiction and historical fiction

        Books about other countries

        Caring for Gardens and House Plants

        World History

Cardboard Jewelry Boxes -approx. 3"x3" to hold elementary materials

Sewing projects materials including:

        1/8" Hardware Cloth remnant pieces

        Carpet Yarn

        Various Needles of different sizes - darning, etc.    

        Burlap

        Various solid colored fabrics- different weights and weaves            

Bird Seed with Cracked Corn - this attracts our cardinals, blue jays and other colorful birds

Birdseed - for small birds and to fill our birdfeeders

Suet Bird Food to hang on our shepherd's hooks - the woodpeckers love this!

National Geographic Magazines - back issues to use for culture kits and cutting work

Monetary donations for scholarships or new materials for our classrooms

Small items from other countries to add to our "culture/continent boxes"  for students to explore (ideas below):

    Construction Paper - we use this paper for some of our math and geography work - Brown, yellow, white, green, pink, grey   and red are used the most.

    Postcards - from many of the United States - with great photos of landmarks

    Educational Posters of Plants and Trees  to use for a future Nature Center
