Montessori in the Home
Wednesday, September 17
This evening will introduce parents and caregivers of young children to a practical translation of Montessori's insight into our family life. Topics will include organizing our homes to facilitate the growth of our children's independence, grow the sense of kindness, and encourage responsibility and compassion.
We will discuss specific strategies for setting a tone of warmth and respect. We will provide helpful insight on establishing positive expectations in order to organize the physical environment at home to include children.
This event is for parents only, so please plan ahead for childcare. We hope to see all of you there!
Helping Your Toddler with Independence
Wednesday, September 24
We invite toddler parents to join us for a special evening focused on supporting your child’s growing independence. This Parent Night will offer helpful guidance on encouraging independence at home—particularly in the areas of dressing, undressing, and toileting—so that your child experiences consistency between home and school.
Our goal is to give you tools and insights that align with what your child is experiencing in the Montessori environment, creating a more peaceful and empowering experience for everyone involved.
This event is for parents only, so please plan ahead for childcare. We hope to see all of you there!

AMS Accreditation Visit Completed
From February 23-26, Peaceful Pathways Montessori Academy welcomed a team of representatives from the American Montessori Society (AMS) as part of the final stage of our reaccreditation process. This rigorous process ensures that we continue to uphold the highest standards in Montessori education, reinforcing our commitment to excellence in teaching, curriculum, and community.
During their visit, the AMS team observed classrooms, reviewed documentation, and met with staff, students, and parents to gain a comprehensive understanding of how we implement Montessori principles and maintain a high-quality learning environment.
Reaccreditation is an intensive, multi-year journey involving self-study, reflection, and continuous improvement. With the visit now complete, we await the commission’s official decision. We are grateful for the dedication of our faculty, staff, and families who have supported this process and helped showcase the heart of our school community. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us!
